ประวัติโรงเรียน/ History

         โรงเรียนอนุบาลเมืองเชียงรายหลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษ      จัดตั้งขึ้นโดยการริเริ่มของกลุ่มผู้ปกครองกลุ่มหนึ่งภายใต้ชื่อ “ชมรมผู้ปกครองส่งเสริมการจัดการศึกษาเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ” อันประกอบด้วย คุณอนุพันธ์  อารีวัฒนวงศ์ , คุณอาชชวิช   ศรศรีวิชัย ,  พญ.นารถฤดี   จิตต์ปรีชาญ ,  นพ.ธันยพงษ์   เตชะวัฒนากุล,  คุณนัชชรียา   ฟาฮัด  ฮัทดั๊ล ,   คุณสุพัตรา  โต๋วตระกูล  ,นพ.บุญเลิศ  โกฏิเสถียรกุล  และคุณเฉลิมชนม์   หอมนาน  ได้ยื่นความประสงค์ต่อสำนักงานการประถมศึกษาจังหวัดเชียงราย    ขอมีส่วนร่วมในการจัดการศึกษาในระดับก่อนประถมศึกษาและระดับประถมศึกษา   ตามมาตรา  57  ของพระราชบัญญัติการศึกษาแห่งชาติ  พ.ศ. 2542  และ คำสั่งกระทรวงศึกษาธิการ      ที่ วก. 1065/2544    ลงวันที่  9  ตุลาคม   พ.ศ. 2544   โดยมีเป้าหมายเพื่อให้สอดคล้องกับนโยบายของประเทศไทย  ตามความต้องการของจังหวัดเชียงราย   ซึ่งเป็นจังหวัดที่มีศักยภาพด้านการท่องเที่ยวให้มีความเป็นสากลที่พร้อมรับการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางเศรษฐกิจและสังคม

            ทั้งนี้สำนักงานการประถมศึกษาจังหวัดเชียงรายได้เล็งเห็นความสำคัญของการจัดการศึกษาหลักสูตรกระทรวงศึกษาธิการเป็นภาษาอังกฤษจึงอนุมัติให้เปิดดำเนินการได้ภายใต้สถานะของห้องเรียนพิเศษของโรงเรียนอนุบาลเมืองเชียงราย ซึ่งเป็นโรงเรียนในสังกัดสำนักงานการประถมศึกษาจังหวัดเชียงรายโดยใช้สถานที่ของโรงเรียนบ้านสันทรายน้อยซึ่งอยู่ห่างจากโรงเรียนประมาณ  1.5  กิโลเมตร

         โรงเรียนอนุบาลเมืองเชียงรายหลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษว่า  Anuban  Muang Chiangrai School of English Curriculum (AMEC)  เริ่มเปิดดำเนินการสอนในวันที่ 6  พฤษภาคม พ.ศ. 2545  โดย อ.Karen Crowe ในชั้นก่อนประถมศึกษา และ อ. Louise Santoni ในชั้นประถมศึกษา ณ  หมู่บ้านเชียงรายคันทรี่โฮม   เพื่อให้การปรับปรุงอาคารสถานที่ของโรงเรียนบ้านสันทรายน้อยเสร็จสิ้นสมบูรณ์จนสามารถย้ายเข้าทำการสอนในโรงเรียนที่ตั้งปัจจุบัน  ในวันที่ 5  สิงหาคม  พ.ศ. 2545

         ในปีแรกมีนักเรียนชั้นอนุบาลจำนวน 15 คน มีนักเรียนชั้นประถมศึกษา  จำนวน  9  คน  โดยมี       อาจารย์มงคล  สุภามณี  เป็นอาจารย์ใหญ่  และอาจารย์วรวุฒิ  ตุ้ยดง  เป็นผู้ประสานงานโครงการฯ  สำหรับในปี   ที่ผ่านมามีนักเรียนทั้งหมด 101 คน โดยมีอาจารย์จรัสศรี  คิวสุวรรณ  เป็นผู้ประสานงานโครงการฯ  มีครูประจำการ 2  คน  คือครูวรวุฒิ  ตุ้ยดง  และครูฉลวย  นุชนิยม ครูอัตราจ้างไทย 5  คน และครูชาวต่างประเทศ 6 คน  พนักงานเจ้าหน้าที่อีก  4  คน  ภายใต้การบริหารงานของอาจารย์มงคล  สุภามณี  ตำแหน่งผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนอนุบาลเมืองเชียงรายและคณะกรรมการผู้ปกครอง - ครู (Parents Teacher Association หรือ PTA.) กำกับดูแลโดยคณะกรรมการอำนวยการและคณะกรรมการดำเนินการที่ได้รับการแต่งตั้งจากสำนักงานการประถมศึกษาจังหวัดเชียงราย  ทั้งนี้ได้รับการสนับสนุนทรัพยากร  ในทุก ๆ  ด้านจากผู้ปกครอง และการร่วมบริจาคจากองค์กรทั้งภายในและภายนอกจังหวัดเชียงราย  รวมทั้งการบริจาคจากต่างประเทศ    นับได้ว่าโรงเรียนอนุบาลเมืองเชียงรายหลักสูตรภาษาอังกฤษก่อกำเนิดมาจากความเข้มแข็งและความต้องการของชุมชนอย่างแท้จริง

          Anuban Muang Chiangrai School – English Curriculum was established from with the dedication and cooperation of a select group of parents who envisioned a “system of education which would be taught in English.”  These parents, Mr. Anupan Areewatanawong, Mr. Achawit Sonseewichai, Dr. Natrudee Jitpreecha, Dr. Tunyapong Thaychawatanagun, Mrs. Natchareeya Fahat Hatdal, Mrs. Supratra Thothragoon, Dr. Boonlert Goatsatiengoon, Mrs. Chalermchone Halmnan expressed their desire to cooperate with the Chiangrai Ministry of Elementary Education in preparing and creating this new type of Kindergarten and Elementary School in accordance with Thiland’s official education requirements of 2542. In support of this vision, order no. 1065/2544 established on October 9, 2544 states that the province of Chiangrai is and will be a province open to change and social adaptation towards development.

           It was therefore agreed upon by the Chaingrai Ministry of Education that there was, infact, a need for this new type of English School in order to progress forward.  As a result, the Ministry decided that the school would be a special extension of the province’s Anuban Muang Chiangrai School, but would be located at Sansai Noi which is approximately 1 km. from the main school.

            Anuban Muang Chiangrai School – English Curriculum commenced teaching students on May 6, 2545 with Karen Crowe leading the Kindergarten class and Louise Santoni guiding the Elementary class, both from the “Chiangrai Country Home Center.”  Ms. Crowe and Ms. Santoni assisted the school with its initial start-up at Sansai Noi and begin providing teaching and instructional guidance in an effort to have the school available for official classes as of August 5, 2545.

 In the school’s first official year, there were 15 Kindergarten students, The Elementary class consisted of 9 students, Principal Mr. Mongkol  Supamanee, Mr. Warawut Tuidong was Education Coordinator.  Last year there were 101 students and Mrs. Jarussie Kewsuwan was Education Coordinator 2 Thai official teacher.  There were also 6 foreign 5 hired teachers and 4 school staffs, under the administration of Mr. Mongkol  Supamanee, Principal of Anuban Muang Chiangrai School and the P.T.A. (Parent-Teacher Association).  This committee, which is responsible for the monitoring and management of all aspects of the school, cooperates with the Chiangrai Ministry of Elementary Education for supporting to meet Ministry Education standards.  Additionally, the school also receives supplemental support from sources both inside and outside of the school within Chiangrai, as well as from overseas.

            In addition to support from parents, Anuban Muang Chiangrai School – English Curriculum was created form the strength and needs of the community.
